+ Can we do just a logo or business card?
In short, no. We believe in working with brands through a more holistic approach. Most studio projects are formed as a partnership with our clients so that we can build a brand with a strong foundation and then thoughfully expand from there. Based on the brand's creative and stragic directions, we craft touchpoints such as business cards and social media assets.
Essentially, we think that starting with a logo or any print piece is like only putting on the accessories and shoes, but fogetting to put on the outfit. It might get attention - but it might not be the type you were hoping for.
+ What is a secondary logo or mark?
A well-developed brand will include several logo variations to cover all necessary applications. These include a horizontal version, a square version (for social profiles), and a small icon that can serve as your brand favicon (that little icon at the top of the web browser tab). All brand packages will include a 'family' of these logo styles to ensure you have the right logo for any use.
+ Is photography included?
Photo curating is included in the brand experience package. If you're an eCommerce brand, we will shoot your products for shop listings as well. Csutom lifestyle and brand photography is also available for extended partnerships or you can have us assist and provide creative directions for your own brand shoots.
+ Is there a payment plan?
Yes! We know that investing in your business can be a big step. To help make it possible for clients the project total can be split into 6 or 12 payments based on the length of the partnership.
+ Which web platforms do you work on?
We can build on Squarespace, Shopify, or Showit. We generally lean towards Squarespace or Shopify as they provide the most functionality and growth potential.
+ Can we start ASAP?
In general, clients should expect to book 1-2 months in advance. To ensure I have the space to allow design projects to breathe and so I can deliver my best to each client, I work on a limited number of projects at once. If you're in a crunch, you can request to 'rush' the project. This isn't always an option and does have an associated fee.
+ Is there prep work?
Yes! To ensure we are rady to dig into the heart of your brand, I'll ask you to complete a brand workbook & submit your findings in a more condensed questionnaire. I'll also have you curate a Pinterest board to get an idea of your personal style as well as the aesthetic you have in mind for your new brand.
+ Will you maintain my site?
The base package doesn't include ongoing maintenance, but it can be added into our scope. You would have the option to book a monthly retainer for your site, or we can book a design day as needed to handle updates.
+ Can we work on retainer?
For sure! We find that bigger projects with lots of moving parts are better booked under a retainer-style partnership. These partnerships last 6 months and allow for our scope to pivot and devlop as needed. This means we aren't tied to 'line-item' deliverables and are able to flex where you need support- new web pages, brand merch, photography, social media, print materials, etc.
